Jeff Wigley started Sun Trading in 2002, after spending ten years making markets at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Jeff was inspired by the emergence of electronic trading in the markets, and wanted to create a proprietary firm that could seamlessly merge technology with trading. He hired Sun’s first software developer and first trader, and together they built a trading system and began trading electronically. In just a few short years, Sun added an affiliate office in London to access European markets, and the firm has risen to become a recognized leader in the trading industry in both the U.S. and European markets.
